Hey guys new to the forum I知 on my second 8th gen
RIP to my first one. I saw the thread about the guy who deleted the front emblem on his max and I壇 like to do the same however I知 terrible with that sort of modification. I saw a mesh grill on eBay and I know I know it痴 cheap aftermarket but can anyone do a rendering of how it would look on? Here is the link to the ebay page

Some lady didn稚 yield at an intersection and hit me on my drivers fender causing me to smash into a telephone pole. At least I know it lives up to it痴 crash test rating lol.

Now then, back to your original question about the front grill and logo. I recently saw a highly modified 2017 Maxima in LA with that mesh grill painted flat black. I did not grab a picture because the result was hideous at best. I'd leave the logo in there and de emphasize it with back paint instead.

I appreciate your report on the loss of your 1st 8th gen Maxima. Would it be possible to see a picture of the wrecked car? I have been searching for another replacement wheel (not rim) on EBAY and I see a few wrecked Gen 8s that look totaled but still survivable for the passengers and driver.

I値l post one soon as I get a chance. All 4 wheels were intact but it was towed that day and then declared a total loss so i never saw it again. So when u say wheel (not rim) ur referring to the tire then?? I知 thinking of selling my wheels/tires, which are less than 2 weeks old, and ordering the black sr wheels. Sort of making it the poor mans sr lol. I have the wing and rear diffuser from ikon just a few more touches and it値l be there. Guess I値l keep my grill for now and maybe do what that guy did, order a new one and try my hand at customization. Thanks for the input!

I like your idea to grab some SR wheels (with rims) and tires. You might notice a little harder ride with the 19s and the SR wheel might be a better look. For some reason, we Maxima drivers are chewing up our wheels on curbs more than we like. I just ordered wheel number 2 to fix a curb chew and maybe I should just keep a spare wheel/tire on hand from now on.
Thanks for getting us a picture of your wrecked 8th gen when you can. I must say, from what I have seen on other wrecked Maximas, this car seems crash worthy in offering protection to it's passengers.
