iPhone X not recognizing USB on 2016

About a month after buying the iPhone X, it stopped working with the USB. Must have been and update that killed it. It will connect with Bluetooth, but the USB doesn’t work at all. It won’t even charge. I connected other devices and they work. This sucks! And it’s unacceptable! Trying to get actual support from either Apple or Nissan is impossible! I get all the same lame suggestions and nothing helps. In the end they blame each other. Does anyone else have this issue? Better yet, does anyone else have a 2016 Max and an iPhone X? I even tried getting back on their Beta program to see if that helped. Nuthin.

Oh farts. Both my phone and my wife’s phone will not work. My iPad, and my friend’s iPhone 7 works. This is a real Mellon scratcher.

Thanks for the replies.

Thanks everyone, I fixed it. I feel so dumb, but it was the cable. Not sure why the iPad worked and the phone didn’t, but I had a brand new cable and gave it a shot. Phone charged and played music! No album art, but at this point I don’t care. I mainly need the usb to work for when the Bluetooth doesn’t connect when Inremote start.
