Wink Just lost a race with a GT-R today

A guy pulled up next to me earlier this evening with Godzilla. Thought I'd rev the engine a bit :-)

Needless to say, after I blinked the first thing I saw was his taillights off in the distance. I'm sure it made his day

I owned a GT-R and wouldn't race anyone. If a cop is nearby, who gets pulled over? Him.

I didn't expect to win, I just wanted to get a free show

If the cop pulls him over... bonus!

I might take him on in my C6 but 2-wheel traction compared to 4-wheel traction off the line does not get it. Would not even THINK about it in a Max. I did run an Audi S4 the other nite. We stayed neck and neck until we both got cold feet.

Before my Maxima I had a 2015 sti . You know how many time I tried to race some one at the line? Zero. You know how many times ppl tried o race me at the line?......

I like having a fast car for my enjoyment not racing others, and any more now a days I think we are approaching diminishing returns.

I will say that the GT-R is a dream car of mine, I hope that they will still be around if and when I'm ever able to afford one..... AND also have a car like the Maxima that's great for daily driving.

Aside from teasing mr GT-R, I haven't really raced anyone with my Max. It's still fairly new and I don't want to mess it up.

I didn't quite know the feel of the pedal in sports mode when I was first driving it. More than once , people took that as a challenge. Getting better about that now though.

I used to do it all the time, but in my older age, I'll only do it if I think the other driver understands it's just a friendly challenge. I put my a-hole days behind me

If funds and time were not an issue, wouldn't it be great to shoehorn in a GTR drive train in a Maxima? What a sleeper that would be!
