WOOHOO I lost a race to a S4.... BUT

Last night after dinner at a buffet restaurant while we we're leaving my soon to be Brother-in-law in his Audi S4 with Chip and turbo-back exhaust and I decided to race. I expected to get smoked because during dinner he told me he spanked a M5 a few nights ago. We were at a rolling start when I pulled next to him approx.40 mph. We both punched it and I heard his turbo spooling and he slowly pulled from me and then we hit some traffic. I pulled next to him and told him that he only beat me by a lil bit and informed him once I get my SC he'd get smoked.
He told me he took it ez that first time and that he didn't push his car all the way. So I said ok lets go again and we did, same results. Needless to say even though I lost this one I am proud of the Maxima's performance and him on the other hand went home with a bruised ego
P.S. I forgot to mention that I noticed that the A/C was on after the race was over.

Even with his mods I seriously doubt he "spanked" an M5. Was the M5 even racing with him? Good job running with him...he musta been ****ed (probably didn't show it though).

Yeah after the second time he just rolled his windows up and slowed down I thnk he was big time Surprised as well as Dissappointed.

I could almost see it happening..
I bet the term "spanked" can be loosely defined by your friend...but i've driven both an M5 and a chipped S4. The sweet spots on the cars are quite different. Those M5's hall from the beginning to end, but once those turbos go on the S4's there no slowing down. He might have beat it, but spanked...well i dunno what u call spanked but thats the term i used when i raced an Rx7..(i swear to god i have my hand brake on when we started the race...his car was so fsat)=D

I went for a test-drive in an S4 early this week, and I was impressed as heck with it. Quattro! Biturbo! 6-speed manual!
Quick and quiet... What a nice car. I was wondering what kind of aftermarket parts would be available for the S4, and now I have a better idea. You did well to stay with it.
