Checked owners manual and its..

Forward Emergency Braking
(FEB) system warning light (if
so equipped)
This light illuminates when the Forward Emergency Braking system is set to OFF on the meter display.
If the light illuminates when the Forward Emergency Braking system is ON, it may indicate that the system is unavailable. For additional information, refer to “Forward Emergency Braking system” in the “Starting and driving” section of this manual.

And when system is turned <ON> that "unavailability" is probably caused by one or more of winter ice slush, road salt residue, mud, and even heavy rainfall. All of these can obscure one or more of your forward radar sensors. If you look at your front bumper you can easily see these discs flush with the bumper. Normally if the situation clears up (such as heavy rainfall subsiding) the light will go out and your system will return to normal. Once though in heavy rain last fall that freakin' light stayed on even after I pulled over, shut engine off, and restarted. Did not happen happen again until a few weeks ago when I was driving through light-to-moderate snow. Came on only for a few miles then light shut off on its own and I had cruise control back. Don't flame me for using cruise in snow conditions, because the roads were clear when a freak snow popped up.

I've seen this light come on in almost all of the situations mentioned above. Drives me crazy 'cause when it happens you lose auto cruise control as well. Mine failed once and some guy nearly rammed me from the rear when my cruise suddenly cut off as he was tailgating me. I think he thought I brake-checked him 'cause I got the finger as he passed me.
