Front interior map/sunglass holder removal

So normally I have no problem digging into interiors of cars. But I can't seem to figure out how to remove this... I need to disconnect that annoying led welcome light.

I have the service manual for 2016 and I see where it has the clips towards the front, and I have tried but it seemed like I was putting too much force to unclips, i didnt want to break this.

Has anyone taking this down? And if so could you share any tricks on removal. Here is the info from the manual.

You need the specific trim removal tool to do the job.......

Thanks but I still do not know how to remove. I have a set of those trim removal tools, but that still does not help that much considering the manual doesn't give a specific tool for the task. so I guess I close my eyes, randomly pick a took from the pouch and hope it works?

I have an idea on how to do it, I was just hoping someone on here actually did it and can say you do this with your fingers in this spot or use this tool and it comes off the clips. That way I don't risk damage but if it breaks.. i'll just have to buy a new one, and then I can add my own writeup on how to best do it.
