Yes the Tombstone screen seems to be embraced by MB and Audi so they are aping that design. I love the current Max panel and Nav set up even though many snort about the resolution. Maybe very good, just not outstanding but easy to use IMO

Nah, everyone's entitled to their option. That new grill is just too chunky for my liking, I think the original look of the Max is the best. Hopefully hey don't walk back on the design with the 2019, the masked photos indicate that they did something to the grill but we'll have to wait and see what.

 

The 2018 version of the V motion grill seems to work well. Recently at the dealer for service and there was a 2017 and 2018 side by side so I finally understood how Nissan toned down the grill part by shading. That said, many are polarized by the 2016-17 grill so I suspect the v motion to be toned down with a more integrated insert for the 2019 edition.
