Tire recommendations

Ok so, I'm new to this forum, and I tried to pick through the threads in order to find some good advice on tires for my 2016 Maxima SV (Stock wheels, 245/45R18) but I was unable to find what I needed.

I'd like to get some affordable summer tires that I can get at least 40,000 out of.

Any recommendations?

Thanks in advance.

Bridgestone serenity plus is all I drive with now. Quiet, great performer on dry days, exceptional performance in the rain. Newer rubber is a little stiffer, I think it's supposed to last longer now. I used to get about 35k out of them with aggressive driving...I also changed them right at 4/32...I never wear tires down to the nub.

Hey Mr. Smith- thanks for the tip. I've already done that, but I was hoping to collect some feedback from Maxima enthusiasts. I've been active on message boards for Stand-up jet skis (my hobby) for several years, and I've learned to appreciate the opinions from online communities over the customer reviews that get posted on retail websites.

At 45K miles, I just switched to the Continental DWS 06; great tire (esp. in wet weather). The stock Contis are scary in wet weather.

Went with Goodyear RSA's standard size on my Platinum. So far, so good. It's a lease car and the price was right thru goodyear.com

Not a winter tire, an all-season.

Either one will serve you very well ... I own a set of both, each on two different vehicles.

The AS-1s are on my 4th Gen Maxima.

The NS-25s are on my wife's SUV.

Thanks- I'd never heard of those tires, but I'll look into them.

I replaced the OE tires at 700 miles because of road noise. I went with Michelin Premier A/S. Late in their life I replaced them with the new Continental PureContact LS. Liking them over the Michelins so far - very quiet and nice ride.
