Hello everyone

Today i had the accent lighting kit insalled in my 2017 Maxima SR

my question is : if the switch was " ON " and the car is turned off

is the switch of the accent lighting goin to turn off and the lights will turn off automatically ? Or should i always press the " on " " off " button whenever i turn off the car in order to turn off the lights ?

This is very complicated, but below is a detailed instruction on what to do.

* Start Maxima
*Turn on lighting
* Turn off Maxima
* Observe status of lights
* Revel in the new found knowledge

 

Lol , when i turn off Maxima

the lights still on unless i turn it off using the switch

thats why im askin if thats normal or should the lights automatically turn off once the maxima is off ?!

 

 

 

No i didnt get it done by the dealer !! I know a guy who used to work for Nissan . His price was reasonable for me !!

i had the External Security Lighting and the Accent Lighting and the Illuminated kick plates done with 150 $

and i also got the parts from ebay with good prices .

mine doesn't turn off unless you turn it off manually by pushing the " on " " off " button

i think theres something wrong with the wiring since yours turns off automatically !

im usin the white color ! it looked nice with the Ambient lighting , but who knows !! I might change it

 

 

I returned the car to the guy who worked on it and he fixed the problem it was a mistake in the wiring

now everything is perfect !!
