I have a 2016 Platinum and a Google Pixel 3 phone. Every time I get a text message on my phone and the car notifies me, it comes through as 3 sometimes 4 different text notifications all from different recipients. I haven't talked to those people in months and when I check my phone to look at the text it's someone different.

Is anyone else having this problem and/or know how to fix it? It should just send one notification to the screen with the correct recipient.

 

My Samsung J7 is flawless with this system. Are you experiencing any other text or phone problems?

 

No, none at all. Just what I described. I thought maybe it was a phone setting but I don't see any solution from my phone.

 

Had something similar with my 2016 platinum and the google messages app on my galaxy s7, switched to textra and problem vanished. recently switched back to google messages app on my galaxy s8 and no issues. my guess is it is related to the text app being used.

 

So how long was it when you switched from Textra to Google messages again and it worked fine? AssumigA you use Google messages now and have no problem with it?

 

probably 9 months or so, decided to switch back and google messages seems fine now. may be worth a shot to just try any other message app.
