Exhaust System Question

Hi All, I have a 2016 Nissan Maxima SR. It had a slight rattle when starting and was told a bracket on the exhaust system needed to be replaced. Long story short...got the repair done at a Nissan shop (5 hrs???) and today (repair done yesterday), my emissions light is solid orange. I checked fuel cap, but it was tight. Is it possible that they just didn't tighten everything correctly? Do they have to reset the sensor system after a repair such as the bracket replacement. The emissions sensor has NEVER been until today (day as after fix). Thanks!

Easiest thing to do is just take her back in to have corrected.

The only logical thing is to take her back in...

Unfortunately these things happen. Some shops seem notorious for situations like this and it’s really hard to discern whether it is due to maliciousness, incompetence, accident or just fate. It could be something simple or... you’ll never know until you get them, or someone else, to diagnose the new situation.
