Diode Dynamics H11 XML2 Fog Lights / Fuse Issues

I installed these fog lights in June of 2017 and have never had an issue until 3 nights ago. I noticed my fogs were not on but the fog lamp light on my dash was on. I checked the fuse under the hood and it was blown. I replaced the fuse and turned the fogs on and it blew immediately. I haven't done any mods & the only other LED's are license plate and reverse (but I installed them the same day I installed the fogs). The entire car is OEM & all other lights are working fine. There are no idiot lights showing up on dash.

Im wondering if one or more of the LED Fog lamps burns out, if it would cause the fuse to blow due to load issues? I did send Diode an email. I'm waiting on their response.

Has anyone else had this issue or know what might be happening?

You’ve got 2 per side 4 combined?

H11 mostly design for low beam and highbeam.

Yes 2 bulbs in each fog light. It's a Japanese H16 which is a H11 here.

Diode's response...
"I am so sorry to hear that! I have never heard of our XML2s causing a blown fuse. Generally, the light will simply fade out and fail if anything. Have you been able to isolate the fog light? I would also double check your connections to make sure there are no damaged wires or loose plugs.

Let me know what you find! "

I purchased a different brand of led fog lamp bulbs and after a few days my fuse was also blown.

I removed all 4 LEDs and applied 12 volts to each individual bulb and one of the LEDs started smoking. That bulb caused my fuse to blow.

i know this is not recommended to do, but did you try to put a +1 fuse on it yet?
(ex. from 15 to 20) if it still blows, there might be a short somewhere on that harness.. right?
