Hi Guys,

just wondering if anyone has done an aftermarket stereo replacement that looks pretty much factory installed after all is said and done?

I have a ‘16 and I’d like to add Car play and Android auto to it. I know many are buying refurbished factory stereos from ‘17+ Maximas but I’m having a hard time finding any in my area for a reasonable price, so I’m thinking aftermarket options, but I don’t want it to look too much like an aftermarket install.

I also have a ‘08 Sentra SE-R that I upgraded from the factory deck to a Pioneer AVH-4100NEX a few years back. I love the stereo, but you can tell it’s aftermarket. The edges aren’t flush with the dash, color doesn’t match, etc. Meanwhile a friend installed a Pioneer AppRadio deck in his 2004 Civic, and it looks like it rolled off the factory floor with that deck. The dash kit was so much better for the civic.
