Brake and Rotor Options - 2017 Platinum

I just bought a 2017 Platinum with 44K miles. The car is in excellent shape however the previous owner must have traded the car in knowing the brakes need attention and (of course...) the car needs new tires. I have had great success with Power Stop brakes on my Grand Cherokee (that is known to eat brake rotors) and I am thinking about buying the rotor and pad kit for this car and replacing them myself. What works on one vehicle may not work another. Anyone have any luck with Power Stop? Any other recommendations?

After 2 gen 8 cars, I do feel the brakes are a bit of a weak link. I think you need to add some strong multi-piston calipers and pads to the new rotors as well.
I don't mean going whole hog for Brembos but somehere in the middle. I defer to others actual experience on what brands work best. Maybe from the Infinity parts bin.
