2017 Maxima Radio Issue Help

Hi everyone- I own a 2017 storm blue maxima that I love, however a week ago while driving the radio shut off then rebooted and turned back on with no error messages or anything. Then it started doing the same thing again every 5 minutes. Even if I turned the radio off and just view the map it would still shut completely off and turn back on. I called the dealership and took it in. I have 42,000 miles on it so it’s out of warranty. They said it would be 149.00 to do a diagnostic check- I think that’s nuts so I said I’d come back. Now 3 days later it completely stopped working, doesn’t even power on, nothing on the screen or anything but it lights up just a tad. And even the usb charging ports aren’t working. Can this be as simple as a blown fuse? I don’t want to spend 149 for them to replace hopefully a 20.00 fuse. Would autozone be able to help me?

Intermittent power connection? Maybe check the fuse box and reseat the fuse. Failing that, try a third party car audio place as they might not charge as much to look at it.

Turn the car off. Open the fuse box to the left of the steering wheel. In the middle, there should be a big white plastic square. It's the shipping and storage mode switch. Pull on it gently and it should pull out a couple millimeters. Wait some 30 seconds, then push it back in vigorously. Turn the car on and hopefully your problem is solved.

I am having the exact same problem with my 2017 Nissan Maxima with 40,000 miles. My radio is now completely dead. Just wandering if you found the fix on this problem.

Replacement radio is the answer, aftermarket or OEM, your choice.
