2017 Maxima Radio Issue Help
Hi everyone- I own a 2017 storm blue maxima that I love, however a week ago while driving the radio shut off then rebooted and turned back on with no error messages or anything. Then it started doing the same thing again every 5 minutes. Even if I turned the radio off and just view the map it would still shut completely off and turn back on. I called the dealership and took it in. I have 42,000 miles on it so it’s out of warranty. They said it would be 149.00 to do a diagnostic check- I think that’s nuts so I said I’d come back. Now 3 days later it completely stopped working, doesn’t even power on, nothing on the screen or anything but it lights up just a tad. And even the usb charging ports aren’t working. Can this be as simple as a blown fuse? I don’t want to spend 149 for them to replace hopefully a 20.00 fuse. Would autozone be able to help me?
Turn the car off. Open the fuse box to the left of the steering wheel. In the middle, there should be a big white plastic square. It's the shipping and storage mode switch. Pull on it gently and it should pull out a couple millimeters. Wait some 30 seconds, then push it back in vigorously. Turn the car on and hopefully your problem is solved.
Whatever came about your problem
