Halogen headlights

LEDs should be OK as they do not pull the amps an HID does. Where I think the issue might be>> if you just swap
LED bulbs to your halogen slots, is that the reflectors in the existing light housing might distort the light "throw" forward.
Somewhere I do remember this subject popping up in earlier postings.

LEDs not for me
I swapped out all the lighting in my 17 to LED. By all I mean all. Headlights, fogs, front turns, rear turns, brake lights, and all interior as well. That being said, I hated LEDs in the headlights. My fogs were brighter than the headlights with our cars having the projector style headlights. I swapped them out for HIDs and love them.

Here's a few videos of mine. HID lows, LED highs, LED front and rear turns, LED brake lights (not in the video but the same as the rear turns). The LEDs don't come through that well on the videos but look great. Resistors were needed for the rear turns to prevent hyper flashing, but not the front ones for some reason.
