2017 - Add vertical adjustment to front passenger seat or replace?

I have a 2017 SL, and my wife hates that the front passenger seat doesn't have vertical adjustment. She complains how about how uncomfortable it is for her. Is it possible to add or could I somehow get a new seat with that feature installed? Thanks

I have a '17 Platinum and my wife (5'2") had the same complaint. I ordered a kit from https://www.srautoshop.com/ and it worked. Wife is happier now. Happy wife, happy life.

it would be quite simple to make your own lift mounts and wouldnt be limited to 1.5 inch risers

This lack of a vertical adjustment on the passenger seat is very disappointing. (2016, 2017, 2018) Finally, with the 2019+ models (at least the Platinums) got this overdue feature. Nissan has continued this lack of a feature on its new 2022 Pathfinder too! So we won't be getting one of those! What were they thinking?

The true fix is getting another later model Pax seat and the wiring. At this point, I'd just trade the car.

The 2018 Platinum has vertical adjustment on the passenger seat.

Thanks for the clarification. I had one of the 1st 2015 Platinum's and could not believe there was no vertical Pax seat adjustment given the fact the car was loaded with everything else. Was happy to trade for a new 2019 to fix that oversight. Now I wonder why they didn't put a pax lumbar adj on the car. Nssan cheaps out even on the deluxe models in some ways.

Yep, I agree at least the top trim should have pax height and lumbar adjustment. Pax height adjustment was one of the reasons I picked the Platinum trim, my wife is 5' tall.

You bring up a good point that not all trim levels have this feature.

I'm assuming you meant 2016 Platinum since there were no 2015s ever made.

Yes it was a 2016 Platinum delivered in October 2015. Amazing how this style has aged so well. Enough that others are copying that look.

I forgot I posted this! Oops! Thanks for the replies. Would a kit reduce the safety of the seat at all?
