Oxygen Sensors

Hey there I am wondering if anyone can give me insight into a problem I am having. I have a bank 1 sensor 2 code coming up on my 2016 Nissan Maxima. I am going to buy a new sensor but am wondering can I get away with buying a name brand like NTK or Denso or even Bosch instead of the OEM version. I know its the rear/right side back sensor after catalytic convertor. Please let me know thank you.

It's a previous gen of course, but I used a Denso oxygen sensor in my 99 Maxima and it looked so much like the OEM one that I was convinced both were Denso.

And if your rear sensor is throwing a code I wouldn't be surprised if the front one on that side joins in on the fun. I had to replace both of my right side sensors within three months of each other. Both were trouble free for 7 years after that until I sold the car to my nephew.

I have heard that people have used Denso or NTK (NGK) in older Maximas Ijust wondered if they would still work in the newer gen.

Nobody else has an opinion on this. My thinking is that since this is the rear sensor behind the catalytic converter it is not as important as the one that’s pre-cat so maybe I can get away with an aftermarket version. I just wanted to see if anybody had a real world experience with any of the brands listed above.
