Electrical issue update new ac issue
So I figured out my electrical issue, although the alternator was testing good. there was a bad diode that would stop working once it got hot. that’s why it was still testing as being good. Then while replacing the alternator the ac line going to the condenser got nicked. it completely emptied the lines, so I ordered a replacement line installed it. Then recharged it till it was in the green. the ac was working fantastic for the first day. then it started blowing hot air I thought maybe it was still low on Freon. So I hooked up the recharge bottle and it was saying that the system was way over charged. Also the compressor isn’t kicking on so I’m not sure if it’s actually over charged or if it’s still low (why the compressor won’t kick on) does anyone know if the compressor won’t kick on if it’s low on Freon? Should I ignore the system over charged and try and add more Freon?

But after installing the line I hooked up a new bottle of Freon and recharged it till it was in the green and it worked great all day then I got home turned the car off for the night ext morning it was blowing hot and compressor wouldn’t kick on so I thought it was it was low on Freon so I hooked the bottle back up to the line and it was showing as being way over charged (but idk if it was actually over charged or if it was the compressor wasn’t kicking on) it’s currently saying overcharged should I try to add more Freon and see if that makes the compressor kick on?

The best thing to do here is to have the system purged and recharged by a pro. There could be too much of a charge which is as bad as not enough freon. There is a chance your system was contaminated after the pipe was nicked in which case a receiver/dryer might need replacing. (A receiver drier is found in AC systems that have thermal expansion valves. It's typical in foreign cars).
Thanks for letting us know the alternator outcome.

Let a Pro handle this. AC work isn't as easy as it seems. For $99, a reputable repair shop should be able to purge and recharge as needed.
