Question about the Information display

Hello everyone this is my first time posting here!

I recently bought a used Maxima 2020 RS. I noticed that the information screen (the one straight across the driver) does not show music/radio playing it’s just a compass, a speedometer and a blank space below them. Iv tried everything and I can’t seem to fix it, any suggestions?. Also, what is the latest software available for the 2020 maxima?

thank you!

No picture was uploaded. But you use the arrows on the left side of the wheel to scroll through the screens. Music doesn’t show on all of them. At least not on my 17. If those errors changing the info screen that you see through the steering wheel, and there is something else going on with your system. You might want to try to reboot the system. I don’t know how to do that but I’ve seen posts on it. Might find something via Google as well.

If you have a 2020 maxima, the bumper to bumper warranty is still in effect (if you have less than 36,000 miles).
Just a thought ...

Your Maxima is normal, working as designed by Nissan.

Why are you under the impression that music information should be displayed in that area? If you need to know what song is playing, look at the radio.

You will have to learn to like your car as it is.

My 2020 SL shows it, maybe its off on yours? I'd check the settings under Customize Display

I don't think my 19 Platinum has the Chassis Control option on the menu you have.

My "home" screen doesn't show music, I dont think its supposed to other than the compass and the speedometer. The only one that really shows music full time is the music subscreen. Mines a 2017 SL though

I just realised that my photo didn’t upload! I also looked for a dedicated music page on the dashboard but it’s not there, I went through the sheeting’s screen > customise>…etc it’s not available there as well
