Correct Power Steering Fluid for a 2017

Hi all,

I noticed the power steering fluid in our 2017 Maxima SV is a little low. I would like to top it off. Does this year require a specific type of power steering fluid - Nissan 999MP-EPSF00P? I believe this has the electric power steering which may require a specific type.

Thanks in advance!

Your Owners Manual contains some very useful information.

@Turbobink Which manual is that from? I had located this manual online: https://www.nissanusa.com/content/da...ner-manual.pdf and did a search for "Power Steering" figuring it'd show up. It found 12 matches but none had details on type/capacity.

Looks like searching within the browser plugin to view the PDF was not displaying as many entries as downloading the file and searching in my PDF reader app. Now I know for next time! Thanks again!
