I've just recently upgraded from a 2010 maxima with every option except the tech package to a 2019 platinum. The 2010 had one-touch auto-down power window controls for the rear windows from the driver's seat which made it easy to quickly cool off the car in the heat of the summer. Did Nissan seriously remove that feature in all 19s when it was available over a decade prior, especially platinums?!

 

Doesn't surprise me. We bought a 23 Rogue Platinum last year and there are a couple elements like there only being 1 touch controls for the drivers window that have given us a chuckle they would pinch pennies on that and leave out.

In my 19 Maxima SL I also discovered the lock for the pull down back seats is missing, it is simply an unlockable button, something my 16 Maxima S had. I imagine they saved $5 on that.

My 2010 loaded Max also had heater controls for the back seat ..an LCD control o the back of the center console. Ditto for the windows cheap out . My new then 2016 Plat also did not have a power vertical adjustment for the pax seat.
