As long as the offset is 45mm or less you should be pretty good (although spoke design also has a great influence on caliper clearance as well). Just to make sure, I would install the caliper and test the wheel before installing the other one and bleeding the brakes...I doubt you'll need a spacer, though. Good luck!

How much of an improvement would I see from a 4th gen to 6th gen vs a brembo/ap racing bbk???

So do I understand correctly that I can buy OE 2004 calipers, rotors and pads and put them on my 2001 SE w/ stock 17's without brackets or modifications?

I don't think the 01 17" wheels will clear the 04 brakes.

Irish will certainly know, he tried it I believe.

no. 02's I believe but 01's will not fit. That's what I've been told.
