Camber Correction

Camber Correction
Hey guys,
I see that alot of you all are running different suspension set ups to include struts/springs or even coilovers. I have run both style of set ups in the past and totally understand the importance of proper caster/camber/toe. Just curious what you guys are doing for camber correction when running say, aftermarket struts/springs. I know that with alot of co set ups you get camber plates. Are you guys running camber bolts? Can the car tolerate a 1.5-2" drop with out them?

While I have not seen camber plates other than what comes on some of the coilover kits I did find the Stillen camber correction kit which will probably work fine. But I am used to dealing with the plates and figure you have to take the top hats off anyway to assemble the struts/springs.

I have Stillen/Cusco camber plates. They are no longer made and a ton of money any how. Camber bolts work, but there have been cases where they break or shift. Id rather enlarge one of the lower strut mounting holes slightly to gain more adjustment. Usually you dont even need to do anything to get it into factory spec.
How low are you and do you even know what your specs are right now?

Hell, the car still has temp tags on it. Just planning the mod list. I was looking into the Ksports but looks as if there have been quite a few problems with them so I am back to struts/springs. Am considering S or H techs at this point.

I was really hoping that if I were to go with standard springs/struts that I could get some Tanabe GF210's as they were great on my Subaru's but that is not the case. They do not make them. In fact, the only Tanabe springs I found were for a Max up to 99 I believe which will not work for me. Too bad, funny thing is, they already make them for the 07 Nissan Versa! That car is not even close to being a sporty car. I guess, I may just end up with the Stillen camber correction thing at this rate. I do not have a drill press to drill out the bolt hole the right way so I do not have many options at this point. But the drop will be no more than 2" and if what was said above is true then I guess I will be ok.
