What is the difference in GC's Tokico and KYB?

I am thinking about changing my strut set up on my Ground Controls. I would like to know what the difference in the GC's is, since they are sold for specifc applications. I am thinking about switching from AGX's to Illumina's. Anyone know?

AFAIK the only difference is in the inner diameter of the sleeve. I could be wrong, though...

what does AFAIK mean? I see a lot of people use that but I don't know what that means.

If that is the case do you know which struts are bigger? The reason I ask is because if the sleevs I have will fit over the Tokico's then that will work, because I wrapped mine with duct tape instead of using the rubber inserts, so I can just wrap more/less tape to make them fit snug.

AFAIK = As Far As I Know.

No idea about the damper body sizes. I'm sure someone knows, though (or at least knows where to look)...

Kyb front stuts can be adjusted on the top while the rear struts you have to adjust them by going under the car. Somebody correct me if I'm wrong on that. The Tokico are adjustable on the top.

thanks for that info. but I am not so much concerned where you adjust the damping. I am more interested as to if there are differences in the GC parts.

yes that is what I mean. Do you know how the fitments vary from Ground control on these two struts.
