Vibration on throttle, help me diagnose the problem

I am getting a high frequency vibration when I input anymore than cruising throttle. The vibration is very slight, high frequency, almost a rumble. This occurs in any gear between 2k-2.7k rpms. I checked the wheels bearings by jacking up the car and looking for free play, but found none.

I have a 2001 5-speed on BC coilovers at "progress" height. 155k miles.

I have never changed any suspension component, except for springs/dampers and front wheel bearings at 100k.

What could be causing this vibration?

TIA

Check your inner cv joints, they can casue vibration on throttle.

I didn't get a chance to jack up the car and take a look. But, the vibration is much, much more prevalent when 1/4 + steering lock and mid-heavy throttle input. Does this make the problem easier to diagnose?

I checked, and you guys were right, I have a torn inner CV Joint boot. There was some grease on the Oil Filter from the torn boot. The grease contains some metal shavings. Is it worth it to just change the boot or just replace the entire axle.

Thanks,

Just replace the axle, if you replace the boot it will not solve your vibration issue.

Thanks everyone!

I changed my passenger side axle with a unit from Raxles and the problem is solved.
