well i bed the setup in last night and i am dissapointed. they grip nowhere as hard as i was expecting them to. i put about 50 miles on them and understand it takes a bit more to be fully broken in but so far they are alright. not much grip at 80mph, better grip in the city at about 40mph. after moderately braking them in, i decided to brake them in furthermore by doing 80-10 HARD, as soon as it got reduced to about 40 mph, it locked up the front and lit up the tires, time after time after time. guess lack of ABS and ****ty tires does that. so far not impressed, slightly better than OEM brakes, prolly cuz my wheels are too heavy for any kind of major improvement. and for the life of me, i barely was able to generate any smoke from the pads. my old setup would smoke away everytime i broke in new pads. PBR AXISS Ultimates is what im running currently.

yup bled them right. infact, flushed the entire system out via bleeding. pressed the pedal 5 times for each side till air bubbles were out then additional 10 times for each side. i did make sure the master cylindr was full too. at this point, most of the difference can be felt below 40mph, if i step too hard on them, they lock up (did that 5 times today alone). braking at 80mph feels almos the same as stock, gradual decrease in speed. 50 lbs worth of rims in each side FTL

UPDATE
well i have put about 800 miles on the brakes since and they are performing much better. phenomenal bitting force below 40 mph and great imporvements above 40. however i'm starting to feel this grinding vibration in the pedal when i get on the brakes kind of hard. the vibration doesnt kick in untill speeds are reduced to 30mph and then i clearly feel/hear this grinding noise till i come to a stop. recently, it has started to squeek at 20mph or lower coming to a stop as well. at highway speeds the setup is perfect, it only happens when im coming to a stop. i know low pads can cause this but my pads are new, properly broken in, new rotors that arent warped. anything you guys can suggest. i want to avoid ruining my rotors. i did a few quick searches with no real explanation for this.

I think he was referring to the slots themselves. I had Powerslots before and also had that grinding sound... actually, it sounded like a jet slowing down (for a lack of a better description).
At first i thought it was the pads (Axxis MM), but even with OEM and Hawk pads the sound was still there. Swapped them out for blanks and the sound went away.

As for the grinding, no issue with that here.
Setup is Porterfield R4S pads(brake dust galore but worth the stopping power)/iRotor blanks/ATE Super Blue/SS lines
Yeah, I was refering to the slots for the vibration.
There's 2 threads regarding the squeel. But I think you already addressed grinding down the caliper, right? The other has to do with the 1% of pad that doesn't touch the rotor. Actually the 1% I can't say for sure is your problem, nor am I certain it is a problem. Never-the-less, take out the pad and check the overhang.
