lowered I30 excessive tire wear
ok heres what i have on the car
1998 Infiniti I30 with kyb agx struts, eibach pro kit springs with the alignment kit on the front.
I bought new tires all around and within 10000 miles the front inside were wore excessively. Rotated the tires and same results in about 7000 miles. There is no unusual wear in the rear. I called a local tuner shop and they mentioned that it could not be corrected unless i put on adjustable a-arms on to correct the problem ($600+ for the part plus install and alignment). I have read on the posts that i shouldnt have a problem with eibach springs and alignment issues and if i do then there is some slight play in the bolt holes to correct.
First question, what is the correct solution to get the correct alignment with the 1.5" drop in front to stop the wear?
Second question, does anyone know of a honest alignment shop that can properly align a dropped car in the Houston area?
Any suggestions?

1. did you align the car after installing the springs?
2. how's your control arm bushings?
3. if you're on the W side, call up southwest alignment http://swalignment.com/ If you're on the east side, call Awesome Z http://awesomez.org/

I've been running Eibachs for years with no wear problems at all. You clearly either need an alignment or have other worn suspension components.
btw, there is NO need for an "alignment kit" (assuming you mean camber bolts) with Eibachs.....only need them if you're slammed.

Either slot your strut bolt holes and tack weld the washers in place after the alignment, or buy some camber plates like Irish posted up. those are the 'right' ways of doing it.

i did have the car aligned after it was dropped and thats when they suggested adding the eibach alignment/camber kit. as for the bushings i am not sure. i am just learning about suspension and wouldnt know what to look for. also i live on the North side so any place up here? if not ill choose one you suggested above.
as for the camber plates that irish posted how much do those cost and is it needed with the amount of drop i have?

CRASH BOLTS SUCK!!! pull 'em out and do it the right way. I've seen those things slip too much, even on the street.
Either slot your strut bolt holes and tack weld the washers in place after the alignment, or buy some camber plates like Irish posted up. those are the 'right' ways of doing it.

Awesome Z is on 59 between 610 and B8. they're your best bet if you're on the north side.
CARS (Craig's Auto Repair Service) is another good place, but they're around 1960 and 249 IIRC. north west. you'll want to talk to John Phillips. He builds a lot of the local spec miata racers and is very good. I'd check with Awesome Z first though. better prices and he specializes on Nissans.
