Questions about KYB's..

I lowered my Max a few months ago and shortly after that I think one of my struts went bad.I get a pretty bad "knock" or "thump"when I go over any bumps.I think its time to upgrade to some KYB's.I did a search and it seems like there may have been some problems with the GR 2's,any truth to this? Also for those of you who use the KYB's did they make a big diiference in handling/ride?It seems there are no choices of struts for the 07's.Overall do you like them?

I am using Kyb's Agx dampening adjustable shocks with Eibach Springs. Which people call Kyb reds. A 2 inch drop is really pushing it. Some guys have done it but you may see an issue with your Cv's wearing out premature.

Don't use the Kyb Gr-2 (Grays)they are a stock replacement and wont stand up to drop springs.

Look at Progress Springs which are 1.75 drop but a very good spring or just stick with Eibach which is 1.5 in drop. If you search maxima.org you will find postings and pics about suspensions. For a 2 inch drop I would look into coilovers Tein, Jic, Megan Racing, or BR.
