Front LH ABS sensor
Hey guys, I bought a hub and knuckle at a junk yard with extremely low mileage for almost a steal. My car is 6mt, but the sensor appears to be for an auto. The connectors are different. Just wondering if I can cut and splice the correct connector and plug it in or do I need to swap the sensors? Would be nice to keep the newer one on the car. Plus silly as it sounds the 6mm bolt head snapped off the junk yard one, yet the one on my car came undone no problem.

Well I tried it and it doesn't work...
Anyone know how to get the sensor out without damaging it? I know you remove the 6mm bolt with a 10mm socket, but is it supposed to slide out of there or do you tap it out somehow?

Looks like it's the same setup as my Bronco save for the bolt (Fargin 6mm 12 point). Yes once the bolt is removed try twisting/pulling. If it's rusted in there use some PB Blaster or Seafoam Deep Creep soak it and see if you can pull it out later.
Worse comes to worse get a nylon dowel or something somewhat maliable and from the magnet side tap it out.
