Racingline V2 Endlinks - Torque questions

I just installed the V2 endlinks But i couldnt achieve the stock recommended torque specs without mushrooming and deforming the bushings. How did you guys torque yours? I ended up tightening them until they started to deform and locked them down. They seem to be working fine and havent backed off at all. Did anyone else question this when installing theirs?

I did the same thing with my install, I was curious about the torque specs but I have had them on for bout 8 months with no issues.
