Who here wants to see a all motor drag 4th gen

Im planning on doing a all motor 4th gen once I find a parted out, or wrecked donor car. engine will be 3.5 with 11.5to1 pistons (cp) giving it a 13to1 comp, and 3.0 ported heads with 3.5 valves (larger) intake manifold is in the process and will be tested out on my turbo street car soon. also Q45 TB which I have sitting here waiting for testing. So what does everyone think of this? I figure between weight reduction and power I should be able to do low 12s. I have a possible 97 wreck pending.

I prefer a very cheap wreck cause I own a body/performance shop I dont care if its a rolling chassis cause I need no interior or wiring or motor. all I need is brakes suspension and doors, trunk lid, hood, fenders, and bumpers

Isn't the Pathy TB 70mm? The source of the picture I showed you came from a friend that said he measured the q45 TB plate at 83mm. Pretty insanely big huh?

Would installing that be any different than installing a PF TB? It's like 30% bigger than stock!!
And yes, an all motor beast would be so damn cool. I bet it would sound bad-****.

At 83 mm, there's no way you could port match the throat of the oem intake manifold to the throttle body. You can barely do it with the Pathfinder throttle body. So to realize any gains with the Q45 TB, you're going to need a custom intake manifold.

Speaking of which, the VG30DETT lower intake manifold has ports that are like 20-30% larger than the VQ30. I don't know about the NA intake manifold, except from what I hear, the NA Z32 has a better top end than the Maxima.

Anyway, what I'm getting at is maybe a redesigned intake manifold could really help us out at high rpm.

Exactly right! You'd definitely need a different intake manifold. Honestly, that's a little too big for the performance I need. I am scared to go with a 70mm PF TB. That's big enough.

just wait. i'll have a PF TB that'll bolt directly onto my stock manifold. but i'll probably have it chromed or polished before i post any pictures.
