so why would the JWT cams be worse then the 3.5 cams in the 3.0 head?
you can make anything work with the right amount of fabrication and time, espiecailly with nissans as a good bit of the desighns of internal parts are similar, its just how cost effective the gains you would see from changing from one part to another, from the lift and duration of the cams listed, id go with the bolt in JWT cams, but thats me, im not going for an all out maxima
dont the 3.5 cams have some sort of diffrent valve timing then the 3.0 cams?

SR20 QUOTE>>>>>I am 99% certain (as of now) that the more agreesive VQ35 cams can be fitted onto the VQ30 heads so long as you lighten the valvetrain via VK45 Ti valves and retainers.
You know SR20 your really funny when I read some of the things you say, talk about beating around the bush. You know damn well what I got but yet you sit there the " VQWIZARD" give me a break you could have told me this along time ago. Yet you keep saying it will work it will work. Come on have some ***** and tell me exactly what I'm doing is wrong you still never answered my question about the grind differences that is a vital part for this swap or it won't work. I don't speak hyperlink to other thread language.
Next time when you give advice stop beating around the bush ex. here is a thread linking threads that have nothing to do with my setup it's like you have split personalities I just don't get it. I can call Tilley ask him a question his answers are straight up no dic%ing around and to others that helped me out Krismax , Jclaw etc.. they are all straight up guys. I’m sorry SR20 but I just have to vent. This project is taking longer then expected with all this dic#ing around no helpful suggestions just whole bunch of fu$% threads.
SR20 until you have actually done this swap and prove it will work then holla at me.
I'm going to spend most of my time today jumping my dirt bike.
Then I'll feal better and go back to work.

Man talk about biting the hand that feeds you....I've given out LOTS of advice here and there and not always 100% correct, however it was better then not offering any at all.
You should have known that there was risk involved and that unless SR had actually 100% performed this swap and had it running/tested, there weren't ANY guarantees. That's part of the risk of *PIONEERING* as you were.
Most of us here have tried and failed to pioneer something, but we still learned something from the support/guidance here. You knew the risk, so don't come back bitter towards SR for trying to help you through something that you bit off more then you were willing to chew or accept if it didn't work.

OK take into consideration if i say a VQ30det bolts up to a 4th gen with no mods and nobody knows otherwise does that mean everyone should take my word for it? He made a complete guess with no definite knowledge on if it would work......I think he looked in the FSM at either one and made a evaluation from that cause in the FSMs they look almost the same, actually half the pics are the same from a 95 fsm and a 2k2 fsm. When i get the VQ35DE cams workin in a 3.0 setup then you will all know I should have the car at my shop soon (org member wants too be secretive) then we will see hows some big VQ35 cams work in a full 3.5 powered 4th gen.....quest for 12s are close i can see it soon, especially after i tried the pathy TB and JWT ecu in my girls 3.5 powered 97.....7300rpm pulls like a ****

off topic, JWT makes an ECu for our cars? any good in it? or is it 3.5 only
also why not go to the JWT cams, they have more lift, if your reving to 7300, why not?
unless its like a money trade off like, stock 3.5 cams being cheaper... or you just dont want that much life from your cams? sorry if i seem newbie ish, the nissan 3.0 world is new to me...

No hard feelings here guys, just like Icey2k1 says we are pioneers and I'm really upset that I made it this far and now I'm stuck between a fine line. I wish I had better resources to test this out.

So do I and most of us~!
If this worked and produced desireable results, it would be SOOOOOOOoooo much cheaper compared to JWT cams. 350Z guys throw these damn things away, even Tilley said he threw a set away.
Who's in your area that could help?

These will be in my DE-K soon. JWT sucks ballz, if you wanna loose 15WHP and alot of TQ down low, to gain 8WHP on top end, spend whole saturday installing them- on a DE-K atleast, and spend 1000 bux on the parts.... you are a moron.
