JWT cams for VQ35

I have the car parked for the winter and already have headers and new plugs to install and I've been considering a cam swap for quite a while now. I've been searching everywhere to find some opinions on the JWT cams in an auto with no luck. I figured if I was going to go that far I may as well install the JWT valve springs and do some work on the IM and heads as well. I'm not sure if all this time and $ is worth the gains, any feedback would be greatly appreciated. I'm sorry to say I drive an 02 Altima SE auto but I didn't know where else to turn.

Thanks

Okay, here is what you do:

1. Go on yahoo.com
2. Type the title of the thread in.
3. Read all the wonderfully obvious answers.

Oh, and by the way, they will give pretty much the same gains on an auto or manual. There may be only a 1whp difference. Autos still suck, though.

^^ I've done all that before, many times. I just wanted some opinions, I know auto's aren't the best but it's what I have to work with until I start that as my next project.

I bet his auto would put a hurtin on your 5-speed.

and to really feel the effects of the cams in your auto you would also probably want to purchase a high stall torque converter and a nice transmission cooler.

You don't need to throw your money away on a cam swap. For over $1700USD in parts and installation the minmal gains arent worth it. And if you were to get cams anyway I would suggest using the Nismo R tune or the Tomei 264s. JWT is a SORRY company to deal with and they should no longer be financially supported by Nissan enthusuiasts.

I have a B&M transmission cooler sitting at home, I was waiting for someone to mention a high stall TC, I was also thinking about a VB upgrade.

Thanks for the info, however I would be doing all the work myself.

Then remove the $500-$750USD for installation and you still don't have a worthwhile deal.

I know, that sucks.

When I get my 3.5 swap done it'll be an entirely different matter though.
