I've gone back and read countless posts about the various hybrid setups but i was wondering if anyone with more knowledge could write them out. For instance
3.5 Complete (block, heads, intake, ecu)
3.5 Block 3.0 Heads with 00VI (which ecu)
3.5 Block 3.0 Heads with Mevi (which ecu)
3.5 Block 3.0 Heads with NA Manifod
3.5 Block 3.5 Heads with 00VI (which ecu, or both)
Which cams can work with what heads?

I'm not sure if what i have listed is correct but this would put an end to people asking about the various setups and what is possible or if it has been done. I personally would like to go with 3.5 block, 3.0 heads, and NA manifold but i'm unsure about which ecu to run, and what type of problems i would run into. By using the NA manifold i won't run into any IACV or EGR fitment issues. Any help would be appreciated and maybe the above list could become a sticky.

 

I've been thinking of making a sticky that documents the different hybrid setups that people have actually accomplished. Maybe this will be it.

Anyway, if you or someone you know has done a successful hybrid mod, please let us know, then I can compile the list.

What I know has been done:

1. 00VI on VQ30DE with 4th gen lower intake manifold, fuel rail and injectors.
2. 00VI on VQ30DE with 5th gen lower intake manifold, fuel rail and injectors.
3. Full VQ35 swap into 4th gen, including ecu and engine wiring harness.
4. VQ35 swap into 4th gen, 4th gen ecu and engine harness.
5. VQ35 cams into 4th gen heads.

What else?
