Question on installing a 00 tranny in a 96.

Is there anything special that needs to be done to make this work besides 00-01 axles? Besides the axles can I basically unbolt the old tranny and bolt in this tranny and I'm good to go? Any help would be great.

The shifter will sit back further, but would be fixed with an STS, or so I am told.

If you get a LSD & a 00' trans, all you need is those parts & a 00' driver's side axle
