VK45 intake 31.5g
VQ35 intake 60.0g

VK45 exhaust 28.9g
VQ35 exhaust 46.8g

Both valves are almost the same size (need new buckets too shim right) the intake is .5mm smaller in the VK but still seats.

Total valvetrain weight loss of 556.8g which is 1.227lbs

What valve springs are you going to run? JWT, Tomei, Nismo, etc., or just stock?

 

Per the SAE tech doc..those weights are right on.

Ti Intake valve = 31.3g
Ti Exhaust valve = 28.7g

The VK valve lifter is same as VQ30...how about the aluminum VK retainer?

 

Wow, those are some significant differences. These would help the car rev higher safely, correct? Which engine are these going into?
