I've written a rough how-to for the 00 VI installation. This is the "only DEK upper IM, no EGR" method. Comments and constructive criticism welcome. Pictures will come but can't promise anything soon as I'm busy moving into a new house.

nice. You think there would be a way to recycle a32 tb? just by drilling the holes into the upper 00vim? Do you have pics of the adapter plate for the throttle body?

I don't know as I didn't look into that route. Offhand, I'd say no.

wow...looks pretty good..do you think it would involve any less custom work if i just used the lower and upper IM from a 2000 VQ?

Also, how long would the whole process take?

I'm planning on having a spare VQ as practice...

Using the lower IM wouldn't change anything as far as fabbing adapters. You wouldn't have to port match it or redrill/tap the upper IM either. As I am not all that mechanically inclined, it took 5+ hours to do this with the help of Nismo3112. That also involved a few trips to parts stores and lunch though.
