nice. You think there would be a way to recycle a32 tb? just by drilling the holes into the upper 00vim? Do you have pics of the adapter plate for the throttle body?

 

I don't know as I didn't look into that route. Offhand, I'd say no.

 

wow...looks pretty good..do you think it would involve any less custom work if i just used the lower and upper IM from a 2000 VQ?

Also, how long would the whole process take?

I'm planning on having a spare VQ as practice...

 

Using the lower IM wouldn't change anything as far as fabbing adapters. You wouldn't have to port match it or redrill/tap the upper IM either. As I am not all that mechanically inclined, it took 5+ hours to do this with the help of Nismo3112. That also involved a few trips to parts stores and lunch though.
