Very nice man. This is what I was shooting for but then Jaime convinced me for the VQ35 :-)

Cant wait to see what a DE-K with a SC can do on a 4th gen though.

Well for my car I am trying to stay VQ35. For Jaime's we might go Hybrid VQ35 with a 5th gen SC and 2.87 Pulley :-D He loves boost more than anyone else in GA.

Nice job, do you have a RPM switch for it already?

Also im curious what FSTB are you using that it clears the DEK manifold ?
I got rid of my CM FSTB cause it wouldnt clear the DEK manifold on my car.

Yeah, I already had a Summit for my MEVI (which is for sale). It's set a 5200....but maybe I need to adjust it.
The FSTB is some no-name off Ebay.

well how much faster does it feel after the swap...I know it might not be a good comparison as your previous engine had 180K miles on it as you previously stated...

if you activate the VIAS sooner than 5K RPM it will tend to bog, I found this out on my full bolt on DE-K. I tried some tricks with diff RPM switch on Emanage VTEC output :P I found that factory onset at 5200RPM is perfect.

Mike- It's running great, except it has a hard start issue, and after I went back to Tilley to tweak it it now doesn't really stay running unless I rev it for 10 seconds or so. It cranks and revs, but if I don't rev it it just dies again. Tilley and I are both confused about this.
Otherwise, it feels great. Even though I hadn't driven my fully functioning VQ/MEVI/JWT in a while, I can certainly feel more low and top end. Top end feels great, and torque is back too. I'm loving it.

Jason- Bring it

95maxrider-You might have a bad throttle position sensor. Usually when that part goes bad, the computer cuts the fuel because it thinks the throttle is wide open. Good luck finding the prob.

Dyno coming soon, but I need to iron out some small issues first. I'm using a JWT ECU.

I posted while in Iraq the black 98 was going up for sale with all mods. Starting life all over again. Knowing too much about cars kills everything. I wanted an IS but now I dont even desire the freaking car. Going with a truck and a Hondu for gas and staying Nissan for now til I make up my freaking mind!!

That's the same problem I'm having w/ mine on cold starts. May mess w/ it later... I'm just happy to have it running finally.
You using 4th or 5th gen IACV?
