Help,Still 00VI problems

right now i am running the 00 fuel damper in place of the FPR, car runs but no where near the power i should see (car is slower than before swap) and fuel mileage sucks. When i hook up the 96 or 00 FPR, hard starts, the car hesitates and is starved for air, full throttle the car does not go anywhere and is very jerky. I have had diagram after diagram and i can find out what the problem is, i read some guys had this problem and realized they mixed up some hoses but i cant seem to find the problem, and i dont think i have intake leaks. Any help or anyone in the NY area did the swap that can help me out.

For one, if you had a vacuum leak you would hear it. You may have the hoses hooked up backwards somewhere though. Did you follow any instuctions of the people that have installed the 00VI?

i hooked up the vacuum of the FPR straight to the intake manifold. I have a huge exhaust leak coming from the rear header gasket i will fix soon, the reason i want to get this done cause i want to dyno and see if there are any gains on a 00vi w/SR headers
