I soldered a wire to each pin and bought a 2-pin connector from Radio Shack and used that.

You can see it in those pics.

Just wanted to share with everyone what I did as many people have asked me questions about my setup. I used a 4th gen TB, 4th gen IACV, 00-01 rear valve cover, and 00-01 rear ignition coils. If you are attempting to do this make sure you get alot of breather hoses. I had to make 3 trips to the auto store just to get tubing. Also make sure you do the JB Weld fix on the VIAS since its simple and cheap and your VIAS will probably fail if you dont.

Here are the pics I promised.

00vi in all its glory. I manage to get the 4th gen CAI to fit by stretching it a little bit and taking advantage of the flexible rubber tubing.

Here you can see that I had to bore out the center bolts to fit 8mm bolts. These bolts were hard to find as regular hardware stores do not carry 8mm bolts long enough. I had to go to a store called Mr. Metric. The size of the bolts are M8x140 with 1.25 pitch. I also had to customize some washers so the side bolts would be able to bite onto to something. Drilling holes in the side is not enough. You have to grind down the sides to get the bolt head to fit so it screws in straight.

Here you can see the 00-01 rear valve cover with the PCV valve easily accessible. You can also see where the 00-01 EGR tube bolts to the manifold. Installing the guide tube is simple but removing the old one is not as you have to remove the egr assembly tube before you can remove the old guide tube.

Here you can see my adapter plate made by maxS. As you can see it barely fits and it actually does touch the firewall. This was the first plate maxS made like this and Im sure future ones will fit better. As you can see I had to rotate the IACV part so that it wouldnt touch the TPS on the 4th gen TB. This made it so the IACV is facing downward which makes hooking up everything very difficult. I still had to grind parts of it down a little to get everything to fit such as where the red TPS connector touches the IACV plate. Firewall clearance could be better if you cut of the side vacuum nipple on the 00vi near the TB opening and weld it up. This would eliminate the need for a spacer between the IACV and TB adapter plates and free up an inch of firewall clearance.

Here is how I routed my vaccum lines. The left nipple has a T on it to connect both brake booster and EVAP. The center two connect to the fpr and the PCV valve. I extended the tubing for the EVAP so that it wouldnt get in the way of the throttle cables. You can also see the mounting point for the 4th gen throttle cables. This spot is perfect as it gets the cables at the perfect angle and I ddint have to adjust the lengths at all. Problem is it only uses one bolt instead of 2 but it should still hold.

Sorry there are no pictures during the install as those would have been much better but I had too much fun doing this and didnt even think about stopping to take pictures. It took me 2 days of hard work but is well worth it. All I need now is to find a VIAS connector to hook it up to my VAFC.

I got my connector from someone on the forums. You may have to do the same, I'm not sure you can order just the connector, I couldn't find a part number to order it.

You install looks nice!

Congratulations on the install!

However I would suggest that you modify your throttle cable bracket or fabricate something to hold it a bit better. With the tight curvature of the cables and vibration, movement of the engine etc I would not count on the bracket staying put with only one bolt. Eventually it will probably work itself a bit loose and rotate around.

I hope you atleast put some locktite on it. sweet job regardless. once you get everything else set aside are you going to throw it on a dyno?
