I've talked to 98SEBlackMax and he was extremely helpful last night, we concluded that the SMT6 has to go and I should considering investing in the EU.

in vq35 altimas the smt6 only let you retard timing which is only usefull for nitrous. other than that the safc2 should do the rest.

oh believe me i do understand the advantages of tuning with a mustang dyno over an inertia based setup. but they spread slander about DJ's, that's all..

That goes both ways. I like and support them both. But at least DJs are fairly consistant throughout the country. The same can't be said at all for Mustang Dynos. The numbers you produce on a Mustang are relative ONLY to that specific dyno.

SR: How much fuel do you think I need to add on stock 4th gen injectors to retard the timing a bit for high shots of juice? I want to run 125 on 93 octane.

Does anyone have the write up or a wiring diagram for the vafc? I want to purchase, but im not going to purchase and try to install it and mess up the wiring harness in the process. I know a few vq35 guys installed the vafc, help a brotha out....

read the installation manual, has all you need.

either use bigger injectors or use an fpr to bump pressure and then back it out with an afc or whatever you would use.

There are ECU codes referencing VQ35's and their diffrent applications, don;t know th e SAFC off hand... But Jime has a diagram for it in 5g how to's(SAFC) and mines been collecting dust for ~3 mos
