woundering if anyone has take out that metal spacer that goes between tb and intake manifold, it seems useless and restrictive. if so any problems?

with the 00VI swap I got a terrible whistling that was at part throttle, it sounded like a BOV that didnt stop... It sounded cool, for the first week, then it was annoying....
When I removed this plate it went away 95% of it
Maybe for you 5th gens that already have the 00vI and all stock it will make it whistle more than my ghetto rigged VQ30DE with 00VI
