MSD RPM switch??

Well summit says their RPM switch is not available untill the 8th of JANUARY!!
I'm putting my 00VI this monday...... so I need to get something.
They list the MSD RPM switch as a substitute so my question for you guys.
Should I wait for the Summit switch to become available, or is the MSD switch just as good??
Thanks,

Mike

I haven't heard anything bad about MSD switch so it comes down to price and how bad you want a switch. You might want to consider a VAFC-II, which will activate the VIAS and you will be able to tune your car.

ahh ok never mind, I found em.
I didn't knwo there was a seperate unit like this other than the SAFC II....
If I were to get this, I could set the VIAS engagement as well as advance the timing/ play with a/f ratios.... hmmmmmmmmmmmmmm....................
I might be getting one of these instead........

Since you have one, i'll go ahead and ask you... Can you leave the fuel settings alone and just set the VIAS engagement??? I don't want to mess with anything but the 00VI untill I can get on a dyno and tune it right.....

Thanks!

Mike

Yeah, you can just set it to activate the VIAS and later when you get to the dyno adjust your af ratios. PM me and I'll explain what people are think about to advance timing with this.
