Requesting: Available N/A Mods for VQ35, please

Hey guys-

I'm from thevboard.com and i'm sure some of you have heard about how we now have a VQ35 swap kit available. I've been reading on the forum and trying to get familiarized with what's available, but i thought it might be quicker if i made a thread.. i was hoping you guys could help condense what's available in the aftermarket and include it here. I'm going to organize it all and have it stickied on thevboard. Thanks for the help!

Can everyone please give me the following info per part:
1. Part name
2. Link or location where it can be ordered
3. Price
4. What it does
5. Difficulty to install

Thanks in Advance!
-Dan.

i also had a question/thought ... for you 4th gen folk who have done the VQ35 swap, are you using a cable throttle or did you adapt and use the electric throttle? stock, the SE-R comes with e-gas and i HATE it. i was wondering if it would be possible to convert to a cable throttle? Travis (the guy who completed the first successful vq swapped sentra) used a '04 Altima 3.5SE ECU, i believe and kept e-gas.

are u 4th gen guys reusing your 4th gen ECU or using an ECU the same year as the motor ur getting? in a few threads down there was this discussion and mention of a pathfinder cable-tb could be used .. is that true? but would it work with an '04+ ECU? i thought the ECU will need to receive electric signals to open?

i'm very confused. any info would be appreciated, thanks.

I believe we can use any internal engine part that is "made" for the 350Z/G35 like pistons, rods, cams, etc..

What do you plan on doing that you need different internals?

i'm in the same boat here. im considering a VQ swap, but im still doing research. i was wondering if there are any destroking kits out for the VQ35? i'd like to have a bit less torque on the lower powerband and more power up top what with a FWD drivetrain and such.

You can use the VQ30 crank and maybe rods, and get a 3.2L destroked engine. Tilly has made 1 or 2 and boosted them. Id just get a top end manifold insted of messing with stroking and diffrent crankshafts.

And I think Tilly used some Ti VK valves in his 3.2L but you have to ask him or look for his thread for specifics.
