Forgive me for my stupidity, but, I am not sure what product you are talking about. I am thinking of getting a piggy-back for my ECU just to midly (as above stated) tune my I30.

So the consensus is to purchase the VAFC-II unless you want to dish out the extra for looks?

Seems like it . Not sure if the NEO can be manipulated like the VAFC, but until someone proves it, VAFC >* as far as AFC goes.

The Neo is probably better tuned for VTEC model Acura/Honda's obviously, I still think that other cars can benefit from the AFC functions. Having a AFC/VAFC was ingenious by Apexi catering to everyone utilizing one unit.

I had one in my Nissan 240SX and it looked great, a lot smaller than the bulkier brother (SAFC-II / SAFC-I) I would suggest going with the Neo, those are my .02

why would a VAFCII, designed to manipulate vtec, not be as good as a NEO, which was also designed to work with vtec, if anything the VAFC II is better cause it has the same vtec controls and more fuel correction points?

Dyno results are vary neways, as long as it is a good tune and tuner, your car is still in good of shape either way. However, a dyno sheet from a good tuner with a dyno that reads especially high has been known to help resale value ( not sure if that is very ethical tho )

Hello all!! Does anyone here have the Apexi AFC NEO for the VQ35DE? I was looking for some feedback on how the owners like it.

Also, if anyone does have it for the VQ35, what do your maps/settings look like after they were tweaked? Can anyone post their maps? Thanks for any help.

I think the real question should be, if it works with A33B software. Considering the forum that we're in, we should keep it technical.

I have seen members on here that have it using A32 software, so I see no reason as to why it wouldn't work with A33B software.
