If you want to keep EGR, the Altima 3.5 has EGR equipment on it.. but other than that it doesn't really matter if its from a max or altima. A Murano engine should work also.

it is cheap compared to buying a prepped engine and still having to buy other things.as for the engine lift you dont need it(it makes the job alot easier tho).oil 11 quarts,2 filters,hoses all you you need are 2ft of vaccum line and 4ft of fuel line(if it doesnt come with the fpr).sealants 2 tubes of it.7 gaskets/seals.sh*t load of tools not really.but this is jus me goin of at da mouth and what not. you can still do everthing for under a grand in MOST situations.


p.s. my alitma engine didnt come with any egr equi.

u re tellin me that u can drop 3.5 in for a thousand? engine included? u gotta b kiddin, rite? im goin with de-k, less headache and less money. throw some mods on and its as fast, besides its easier to sc or turbo it.

You can make anything fast with enough money. But nothing beats the 3.5 as far as bang for buck is concerned. I don't count nitrous BTW...
besides its easier to sc or turbo it.

ok mr. mechanic im not gonna argue with u. u obviously know about this more than i do . but i think u re generalizing, although it is possible to do it for a thousand as u said, for most ppl its gonna b much more ...
