Dek swap questions..

I got the swirl valves out, im getting the jb weld tomorrow. do I need new intake gaskets for lower and upper? to put it back together, because im assuming im not reusing the used ones. there are a ton of rubber hoses on the dek, do they all get re used, as well as metal hoses on the vi. What all comes off? or does it all stay except the wiring harness(which I already took off) and the iacv which I took off the bottom of the tb and im making a plate to cover the bottom. Thanks and sorry for my newbishness

well if you seperated the lower and upper then, yes I would change them because they will eventually begin to seep.. There are plenty of little things you can remove from the system and still have a fully functional setup. such as the evap system on the top of the manifold, and also the vacuums which wrap around the pass side of the motor. Thats to name a few things you can get rid of during the swap..

alright thanks, so u didnt have to separate the lower from the upper to take out the swirl valves? are the vacuums I can thake off the 2 hoses that are like a quarter size in diameter on the lower pass. side in the back? and the evap sys. on the front top of the vi, 2 small matal tubes with rubber hoses on the ends?
