Who needs a VQ35...?!

...when you can run 13.13 @ 104.41 in a VQ30?

LOL.

Just kidding. I'd love to have a VQ35! But the vintage VQ30 still deserves some props I think, even though everybody's jumping on the VQ35 swap...

(The above #'s are my new PB's from earlier today. Oh and a 60' best of 1.87. Just figured I'd post here for those who don't check the 1/4 forum much. Here's the link):

With your setup, a 3.5 could possibly get you solid 12's all day long.

Yes, for sure. The VQ35 swap won't happen this year though. Just can't afford to yet. Have a long and expensive trip planned as well as a house purchase hopefully, and when I do the swap it will cost more than just $1k for the engine.

Sigh the EU is just a band aid j/k But it easy to go full standalone when its less then $200 and you dont mind assembling a circut board and doing a lot of wiring. Of course Im talking about Megasquirt. I need to order it this month, and start assembling it....

Danny, congrads on the new records, I knew the 3L had some great potential that only advance tuning could unleash, now time to see what it can do in a s13 with a z33 6 speed....

The funny thing is I am only roughly tuned on the road.. not "advanced tuned" on the dyno... yet...

But thanks.
